The Chuditch Trail starts at the southern end of the Nanga Townsite, opposite the parking area. Entrance to the trail is through a grove of Teatrees down to the creek across a bridge, then uphill through dense undergrowth interspersed with grass trees. The trail meanders assisted from time to time with wooden steps. This trail possibly rates as one of the nicest walks in the district.

The walk eventually leads back alongside Nanga Brook and Townsite where the remnants of orchards planted by early the early residents can be seen. In season, Watsonia and Jonquils form a meadow effect and as you follow the trail, you will notice a number of exit trails back across the creek where you can alternate your walk, leaving the more strenuous trail for flatter ground or continue along the trail and take the low road on your return.

After crossing Nanga Road, the trail splits higher to the left along the Bibbulmun track high on the hillside to view Nanga Mill and its tall pines or take the low road back along the creek where you can criss-cross as you follow this delightful walk frequented by small water falls over logs and rocks.

The trail eventually ends at a wooden bridge where if you haven't done so already, you can select your day's barbecue spot or return back through the meadow alongside the creek or just amble through the pines.

How to Get There:

After leaving Dwellingup Tourist Information Centre, turn left at the give way sign. You will then arrive at Williams Road. Turn left, proceed along this road until you reach Nanga Road. Turn right and travelling along this road, you will reach Nanga Bridge. Keep going until you reach Nanga Mill Townsite where you will see picnic tables and a BBQ area. The Chuditch Walk Trail starts from the further most point of the picnic area.
